Joanne C. Rhoades

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband C. Charles “Chuck” Rhoades, both parents and her brother Johnny.

She is survived by their daughter Tracy (Bradly) Manley, their son Douglas (Cathy) Rhoades, her brothers Elvin (Mary) Ventresco and Richard (Linda) Ventresco. She is also survived by her beloved grandsons Adam and Mason Rhoades.

She was a proud alumna of North High School class of 1950. She and Chuck had a wonderful life traveling to amazing countries, especially Italy and Switzerland. Joanne loved her career at the Ohio State house working for several senators. She really enjoyed being amongst the “movers and shakers” at the State House. She was a lifelong Buckeye fan, something she had in common with her husband Chuck. During her time at her assisted living community, she could always be found wearing her red Ohio State Jacket. She enjoyed her time there with “The Lunch Bunch” and caregivers, living up to her nickname “Cookie” because everyone thought she was sweet.

A Mass service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 10:30 AM at the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43220 followed by a luncheon in their Parish Hall to greet and celebrate her wonderful life.
