Joan E Taylor

Joan Evans Taylor, age 87, passed away April 6th, 2021. She was born September 17th, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late James Baxter Evans and Laura Monsarrat Evans. Joan was raised in Columbus all her life. She Graduated from the Columbus School for Girls and from Chatham College, Pittsburgh, PA. Survived by children; Andrew (Tracy), Katherine and Laura, brother, Nicholas Evans, sisters-in-law; Christine Evans and Emily Evans, along with several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Fredrick G. Taylor, and brother James B. Evans Jr. Joan Devoted her adult life to her family and to community activities. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest a contribution to the St. Albans Episcopal Church, 333 S. Drexel Ave, Columbus, OH 43209 or the Homeless Families Foundation, Columbus, OH 43215, or a charity of your choice. Entrusted arrangements with SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME. A service will be held at a later date at St. Albans Episcopal Church of Bexley, Ohio.
