Jill was a graduate of Whetstone High school in 1972. During this period, she studied abroad for one year in Europe. After high school, she pursued her love of knowledge at Ohio University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. During her time at Ohio University, she met Dan in the cafeteria and they fell in love. They married in 1978 and decided to have a family of their own. Jill became a mother of two beautiful daughters and 2 amazing grandsons. As a mother she was generous, devoted, and kind. She was fond of all her animals; her kindness even extended to strays.
Jill was very passionate in all walks of life. She was known to say that Beauty is wasted on the eyes but deliciously tasted with the heart. She took this theme into authoring poetry and novels, crafting artwork, forest walks and personal chats. One origin of the name Jill means “Companion, Friend and Sweetheart” and she was all of this and much more. She is greatly missed.
Jill is preceded in death by her mother Dr. Katherine Twarog; stepdad Dr. Leon Twarog; and sister Tracey Jorgensen. Jill will be deeply missed by her loving husband Daniel Vehr; daughters Pamela and Skye Vehr; grandsons Chase and Giovanni; brothers Stas (Susan) Twarog and Bill Jorgensen; and sisters Rebekah, Wendy, Sophia, and Sean.
