

Jeffrey L. Schirtzinger, age 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Doctors West Hospital, entering into the arms of his Lord. Born on July 8, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, Jeff was the son of Ardie and Patricia Schirtzinger. After graduating from high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He later built a long and dedicated career at Worly Plumbing Supply, where he worked for over 30 years. Jeff was a man of deep faith and a devoted member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He had a passion for history, music, and sports—especially Ohio State football and the Cleveland Browns. A loyal fan of the TV series Yellowstone, Jeff rarely missed an episode. Above all, his greatest joy in life was his family, particularly his beloved granddaughters, Macie and Mila. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Schirtzinger. Jeff is survived by his father, Ardie (Darlene) Schirtzinger; daughters, Kelsey Cuccio and Karly (Chris) Kirk; granddaughters, Macie and Mila; siblings, Rick (Janet) Schirtzinger, Karen (Tony) Groh, and Mike (Lorraine) Schirtzinger; along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and his cherished dog, Gracie; and his friend, Tara. A memorial service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Schoedinger Hilltop, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
