Jason “Jay” Keith Stover, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 17, 2016 on his 41st birthday. He was born in Huntington, West Virginia on October 17, 1975. Jay was an avid hunter and fisherman who also loved reading, cars and motorcycles. He worked as a manager for AT&T for over 18 years. Jay is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah K. (Earls) McCoy; grandparents, Dorothy McCoy, Virginia and William Earls. Jason is survived by his beloved son, Nicholas Quinn Stover; beloved former wife, Jen Stover; father, James D. (Teresa) McCoy; sister, Kristie (Curtis) Casto; grandfather, James I. McCoy; uncles, Carl (Cathy) McCoy and Mike McCoy; aunt, Diane (Tim) Gould; nieces and nephews, Diana (Cameron) McGee, Patrick Bush, Baron and Kayleigh Casto, Hannah and Alex Gorby-Parsell; twin great-nephews, Cory and Owen McGee; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sharon and Chuck Gorby; sister-in-law, Heather Gorby; numerous cousins and many friends. Family will receive friends Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. Cremation will take place at a later date per Jay’s request.
