Janet Shepherd

Janet Louise Gibson Shepherd, age 81, of Columbus, OH, passed away, September 26, 2022, at her home. She was born July 25, 1941, in Huntington, WV and was a 1959 graduate of Barboursville High School in Barboursville, WV. She was a beloved mother and nana.

Janet was preceded in death by, her mother and father, Bertha and Ira Gibson. Her husband, Clark Shepherd and her loving partner Bobby Thornburg. Siblings, infant Clyde Gibson, Carl Gibson, Boyd Gibson, Charlie Gibson, Sherman Gibson, Mildred Walker, and Leona Morgan. She is survived by her daughters Tammy (Chris) Coe and Jo (Chris) Selbe. Grandchildren, Jack and Sadie Coe. Her siblings, Donald Gibson, Rhetta Skaggs, Thelma Thacker, Glenn Gibson, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Her extended family Patrick Thornburg (Loretta) and Bobby Thornburg Jr. (Melanie). A special thank you to all of her wonderful neighbors who helped take such good care of her and Bob over the years.
