Janet L. Duncan

She was born to the late Orin and Nola Chrisman on December 27, 1941 in Hazel, KY. Janet was a loving, caring, and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She retired from T. Marzetti after 25 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Maize Manor United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by sister, Claretta Newport and brother, Gerald Gene Chrisman. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Danny Duncan; children, Sheila (Mike) Rader and Rodney (Janice) Duncan; grandchildren, Cole Duncan, Vanessa (David) Smith, Aaron Shane Fields, Michael Rader, Devan (Kyle) Metz; great-grandchildren, Emery Smith, Mason Smith, Reece Smith, Peyton Metz, Paisley Metz; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family will receive friends Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 2-5 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (Just south of I-270), where the funeral service will be held Monday, October 22, 2012 at 12 p.m., Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating. Interment at Concord Cemetery.
