James Walter “Walt” Wells, Jr, age72 of Columbus, died Monday August 10, 2015. He was retired from ConAgra (originally Grower’s Services). He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Minnie D. Wells and sister, Wanda Arnold. He is survived by his daughter, Deanna Wells; son, Owen Todd Wells; sister, Geraldine Colson; brother, Max (Shirley) Lawrence; sister-in-law, Charlene Langley; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at Schoedinger Linden Memorial Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, where friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service, from 1-2:00 p.m.
