James W. Stark

James W. Stark, 90, of Upper Arlington, Ohio, entered into eternal rest Sunday, April 30, 2023. He was born August 29, 1932, in Wheeling, W.Va. He grew up in Martins Ferry, Ohio, and attended St. Mary’s Grade School. After graduating from Wheeling Central Catholic High School, he obtained a chemical engineering degree from The Ohio State University. He was part owner of Ohio Chemical Co.

He was an avid OSU football fan and season ticket holder. He loved to golf at the Ohio State University golf course. He was a member of St. Timothy Church. He was a cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Patricia; his parents, Norman and Hilda Stark; and sisters Norma Driehorst and Mary Agnes Kerr.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane, Columbus, Ohio with burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
