James W. Mitchell

James was born in Newark on September 10, 1934 to the late Herschel Harold and Alma Mae (Hoyt) Mitchell. He died Sunday June 5, 2011 at the Licking Memorial Hospital. He was 76 years old.

Jim is preceded in death by his daughter Peggy Lou Mitchell and his step-father Tuffy Rey. He is survived by hise wife Carolyn (Kinney) Mitchell, children Terry Winegardner, Thomas Winegardner, Tobey (Debra) Winegardner, Rocki (Ronald) Weese, and James & Regina Mitchell Jr; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, sisters Margaret Doddrill and Peggy Waldeck of Heath, brother Charles Rey of Newark, special friends Kay and Sam, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Mitchell worked as an HVAC Technician, most lately with Martin Heating and Cooling. He collected and repaired old cars and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren..
