James "Jim" B. Jones

James “Jim” B. Jones, age 69, born June 21, 1941, died June 22, 2010. He was preceded in death his mother, Thelma Bailey-Woods; wife, Peggy Jones; and daughter, Diane Jones-Robis; Survivors include his grandchildren, Katie Robis and Cody Robis; sister, Janet (Bill) Lawhead; brother, Daniel Davis; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Ben Washington and Amy Bently. Jim recently retired from Interstate Trucking where he worked as a truck driver and he loved his work. He served in the United States Army in Germany during the 1950’s. Jim had a very courageous but short battle with cancer; he wanted to go home to Heaven to be with Jesus and his wife and daughter. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00AM with visitation one hour prior at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP, 3030 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio.
