Irene Cottrill

Irene Cottrill, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at her home in Canal Winchester. Irene was born in Ostrander, OH on February 16, 1935 to the late Solomon and Lillian (Worth) Sanders. She enjoyed gardening and finding that special something at antique shops or flea markets. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, James M. Cottrill III; youngest son, Michael; seven siblings, Alfred, Bill, Janice, Jean, Betty, Dorothy, and Emerson. Left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, James (Charlotte) and Casey (Lori); grandchildren, James, Julie (Art), Joshua (Ana), TJ (Megan), and Mark; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Emma, Eva, Kylie, and Haley; sister, Mickey Schrieber; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be held 10 am Thursday, February 4, 2021. Masks are required and attendance will be monitored to maintain social distancing requirements. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt.
