Hi Dad today is Thanksgiving and I miss you so much. Wish we could be having dinner together. There is not a day that goes by that i dont think of you and mom. I'am so thankful that I had a father like you and that I recieved the love and support that you always gave me thur my life. I'm at home today getting stronger and better after all the surgery's I have had to go thur. Thank you for looking over me. I have another surgery in Jan and will need you to keep looking over me thur these diffcult times. I will cherish you in my heart till the day I die. Love you daddy and miss you bunches. Hi Dad, Miss you! I hope you and mom are having a wonderful blessing there in heaven. Dad I need you to keep looking over me and praying that my body will be healed. I just have been so sick and I know you and mom have been looking over me and getting me through this diffcult time. I know at first I was wanting to give up on life but god has looked over me through all 4 surgery's. The last one I did not know if I would make it through but god must have more work for me to do. Hi dad it's me scill. Dad I wish I could have said good-bye to you. I thought you would come back to the house so that I could celebrate your birthday in florida with you daddy. I had my airline ticket to be there 5 days before your birthday. I was going to be there dad to share that special day with you. Dad it was going to be a surprise. Instead I got the surprise that you had gone home to be with your Lord and Savior. Dad I miss you. I want to call you and talk to you on the phone. Dad I want to hear your voice. Dad I love you. Dad can you hear me. I hope so. Dad my heart aches for you. Dad mom's heart aches for you. Dad our whole family has a huge void in our hearts you will be so missed. Dad I wish I could get one of those bear hugs that you would always give me when we got to see each other.I will miss you dad. Dad I went to your  funeral service today and you really looked good. You looked as if you were sleeping peacefully. Dad I know you are now out of pain and no longer suffering as you have been for years. You were the most wonderful father,husband,brother, uncle and son. Dad I hope you know how much you are loved by your family, friends and everyone. I must say that anyone who's met you has been blessed. Thank you dad for the memories you will live in my heart forever. Dad  thank you for the wonderful life you have given me and I will cherish you in my heart till the day I leave this earth to meet you on the other side in heaven . Dad I love you and rest in peace. This is a day that I have dreaded for awhile, to be without my father, but dad has always looked forward to finally being with Jesus in his homeland, Heaven, his final resting place.  Dad and I had many long talks in which I always came away with a better understanding of how to deal with life problems.  Dad taught me to always trust in Jesus and to turn my problems over to God through  prayer.  I have done just that and I thank my father for introducing me to God. I thank my father for being a wonderful father and a loving husband to our mother, Naomi. Dad has been a great soldier for God as he spend his life spreading the gospel through his leadership as a pastor, revivals, his fruit basket program, his Christian radio program, or just talking to people on the streets about his love of God.  Dad always expressed the importance of family with Christ in the center. I pray Dear Lord that you will use our fathers passing to bring our family closer together and closer to you Dear God. I have to say I haven't seen Rev. Marcum in quite a few years, but one thing I will always remember about him was his smile. He had the smile of a happy man who loved his family and the Lord. Mrs. Marcum my prayers are with you and your family and especially my friend Joyce. I will light a candle in church for him tomorrow.
  He has earned the great reward of Life Everafter with Jesus.

What a great soldier for the Lord, Yes Herman you have fought a good fight & you kept the faith.
  So many great memories of great services & all the work the Holy Spirit did in those wonderful services at Eddystone Church.
  You were a great man of God & a fine example for Ace at that time in our lives, I know you will be greately missed by all who knew you.

To a great man who in my eyes was the perfect man & grandfather. You never judged me, you always stood up for me and best of all you were always there when I needed you. You left me too soon but I know that you knew that I loved you more than anything and I will see you again some day. 

I can just imagine you at the pearly gates with a big smile on your face and relief that you finally arrived. Jesus holding out his hand to reach for you and greet you. I know you will be ok now. I love you and will miss you dearly.
