Helen Jean Taylor, age 96, a long-time resident of Upper Arlington, passed away on Saturday, November 30th, 2024, at Willowbrook Christian Nursing Home. She was born on August 9, 1928, in Richwood, West Virginia, the daughter of Roscoe Anderson and Virginia Congrove.
Helen was a dedicated employee of City National Bank and an active member of Boulevard Presbyterian Church and its Boulevard Women's Association. She was a great cook, enjoyed decorating and gardening, and loved her many pets.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Porter (Jeff) of Worthington, and Carole Radloff (Tom) of Dublin; her son, William Taylor (Renee) of Upper Arlington; her grandchildren, Kristin Dreher (Fred) of Lewis Center, Kevin Porter (Tip) of Hilliard, Kelly Porter of Columbus, Natalie Winters (Eric) of Upper Arlington, Karrie Radloff (Jonathan Nowak) of Boston, and Todd Radloff (Kimberly) of Dublin; as well as her great-grandchildren, Daniel Porter, Devin, Chase, and Norah Dreher, Ginny and Beatrix Nowak, Elowen "Winnie" Winters, and Tim, Tom, Taylor, and Kennedy Radloff.
Friends and family are invited to call from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6th, 2024, at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, OH. The funeral service will be held directly after visitation at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Bill Montgomery officiating. Interment will take place on Saturday, December 7th, at 10:00 a.m. at Union Cemetery.
