Helen Louise Khoury

Helen Khoury, age 91, born September 23, 1924 in Logan, Ohio, went to her Heavenly Father, June 28, 2016. She was one of seven children born to the late Joseph and Leatha Thomas. Helen went to Logan High School. She worked at Wright Patterson Airforce Base, Mount Carmel Hospital, and The Spectator Newspaper. She was a lifetime member of St. Aloysius Church. Helen volunteered at the St. Aloysius School, Ladies of Maria, and Mt. Carmel Hospital. She worked at the voting booth for over 30 years. Helen cherished her family, her faith, and loved her country. She was a generous and kind person who remained a positive force in the lives of everyone she met. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Moses; and five siblings. Helen is survived by her children, Joe (Joann) Khoury, Pat (Steve) Price, Barb (Jim) Thompson, and Tina (Joe) Bricker; her only remaining sibling, Robert (Carolyn) Thomas; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and special friend, Kathy DeVaney. We would like to thank Ohio Health Hospice and Kobacker House for their wonderful care. A very special thank you to mom's wonderful caregivers, Kim, Kari, Mary, Phyllis, Denise, Tara, and Marletta. Friends may call on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204, in honor of Helen wear your favorite hat! A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Aloysius Church, 2165 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43223. Fr. Ronald Aubry, Celebrant.
