Pete was born September 20, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harry L. and Martha L. Watkins. He was a Northland HS graduate, class of 1975. Retired from the Post Office after 39 years of delivering mail, he enjoyed a retirement job driving a bus for Worthington Schools.
Throughout Pete’s life he enjoyed family, countless friends, dogs, traveling, and motorcycles. He never met a stranger and was always ready to help when needed. His true passion was riding his Boss Hoss motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, Pete is preceded in death by brother, Gary Watkins and uncle, Rev. John C. Seim.
Pete is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Watkins; son, Harrison Kyle (Lauren) Watkins; daughter, Dr. Katherine (Angel) Montoya; stepson, Derek (Melissa) Remaly; grandchildren, Benjamin Watkins and Elena Montoya; sister, Cheri (Jim) Raines; aunt, Rhea Seim; cousins, Craig (Trudy) Seim, Tony and Nick Seim; and his best canine buddy in the world, Ramsey.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Schmidt's Sausage Haus in the Banquet Room at 240 Kossuth Rd, German Village, Ohio.
