Harold Keeler Johnson age 92, died on Dec 1, 2015. He was born January 19, 1923 in Medina, Ohio. He graduated from Sunbury High School in 1941. During WWII he worked for the US Government at the Panama Canal; Was a veteran of the US Coast Guard – Merchant Marine Div; Worked for US Army as a Psychiatric Social Worker. He later worked for Motorist Mutual Ins as a claims adjuster; Nationwide Ins and as a licensed Real Estate Agent. He was a past member of the Linden United Methodist Church where he served as a Trustee, Chairman of Administrative Board, Sunday School teacher. Also a past member of the Church of the Good Shepherd where he was a Trustee and served on the Finance Committee. He was a 67 year member of the Masonic Lodge; Huber Ridge Assoc – Vice President; Meals on Wheels – volunteer.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years – Janis (Everhart) Johnson; parents Burr and Essie Johnson; brothers Beryl and Robert Johnson. He is survived by his brother Neil (Laura) Johnson; children Christine (Ronald) Ritts, Steven (Debby) Johnson, Cathy (Jim) Pennington, Sandra (David) Cuccia; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; in-law Barbara Johnson and many nieces and nephews.
