Harold “Red” Eugene Isner, age 82, of Columbus, died October 25, 2012. He was born May 10, 1930 in Grafton, West Virginia to the late James & Margurite (Weiss) Isner. Red retired after 30 years of service as a fire fighter in Dayton, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren. Red was also a member of Columbia Heights United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, of 56 years, Jo Ann (Acton) Isner, and brothers Robert Isner and Donald Isner. Red is survived by his children, Rebecca (Ralph) Showman, Bradley (Margaret) Isner, Robin (Dale) Blakeley, James R. “J.R.” (Glennda) Isner; grandchildren, Justin Isner, Peter (Sarah) Isner, Daniel (Laurel) Showman, and James (Lesley) Showman; brother, Russell (Judy) Isner; sister, Pat (Jerry) White; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. A memorial service will be held 4:30 pm Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Columbia Heights United Methodist Church, 775 Galloway Road, Galloway, OH 43119.
