Gwyneth Lee Hobbs

Gwyneth "Gwen" Lee Hobbs, age 85, passed away and gained her wings on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Gwen was born on May 10, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Jesse James and Annie Lee Booker. Also preceding in death was her children's father, Inmon Cook, Jr.; sister Dorethea Y. Carter; brothers Eugene Booker, Leon Booker, Harry "Woody" Booker and Ronald Booker. Gwen loved her family and was often quick to give tough love advice. Everyone who knew her was keenly aware of how outspoken of a Christian she was. Gwen will be deeply missed by her loving daughters Theresa White and Toya Harris; grandchildren Keon Bankhead, Aiyanna (Kenneth) Briggs, Shasta Bankhead, Billi Byrd, Cassiopia Byrd, Inmon ( Ashley) Bankhead, and Destiny (Ayomide) Kodu; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Ann Poindexter; special niece Debbie Rivers; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
