Grace “Gracie” Morris, 85, was given her wings and set free, to finally rest in peace on October 12, 2020. Grace was born on September 26, 1935 in Floyd County (Maytown), Kentucky. Grace marched to the beat of her own drum, until sadly, she lost her fight to COPD. She has spread her wings and entered into the gates of paradise. Grace could spend hours feeding the birds, reading books, watching the Buckeyes and shopping. She loved the fall and the colors of the leaves on the trees. She loved lounging around in her soft cozy pajamas, housecoat, slippers, watching movies, and eating ice cream with her family and friends. Grace was preceded in death by her father, Robert Owsley and mother, Elizabeth Ratliff; sisters, Viola Miller, Hazel Sue Cassidy, Octavia Winters, and Lishia Stillwagon; and her brother, Billy Owsley. The passing of her daughter, Charlotte (John) Dianna Sue Lilly, was too much for her heart to bare.
