George Allendorph Rogers

George attended Grandview Heights High School and Dennison University. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Physics.

George served in the United States Army during the Korean Peninsula Campaign. He retired after 40 years from Battelle Memorial Institute where he worked as a program manager. George was also a member of York Lodge #563 and F. & A.A. M.

He was an avid hunter, field trial judge, fisherman, woodworker, farmer and fly tier.

George is survived by his sons, Peter, Paul and Kevin (Shari); brother, Arthur Jensen (Synthia) Rogers of Dallas, Texas; Ex-wife Carlotta, stepchildren: Cheryl, Brian, Lorrie, Jeffrey(deceased), and Lorrie; grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, Carolyn, Amanda, Bradley (Johnna), Matthew (Erik), and Andrew; great grandchildren, Arden and Lillian; and niece, Kirstine Rogers.

In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his brother, Robert R. Rogers Jr.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221, where family will receive friends from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM. Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending. A webcast of the funeral service will be available.
