Gary L. Armbrust

Gary L. Armbrust, age 58, of Newark passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at his home. Gary was born on September 23, 1953 in Marion, OH; he was the son of the late, Joseph Douglas and Barbara Armbrust. Gary was also preceded in death by brother, Douglas E. Armbrust. He is survived by his loving family, daughters, Mindy Armbrust and Maria (Jason) Decker both of Columbus; grandchildren, Gage, Devin and Kyra; girlfriend, Betty; nephew, Eric Armbrust; and best friend, Mike. Gary was an avid OSU fan and enjoyed being with his cat, Baby. He will be remembered for his determination and big heart. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 5-8pm at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204; where funeral services will be on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 1pm. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
