Frank B. Searcy

Frank B. Searcy, age 75, died peacefully Friday August 19, 2011 at his residence. Frank is one of the original members of the Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church, active member of the New Albany Lions Club, avid fisherman and golfer, even carding a “Hole in One” at Racoon International! He also enjoyed traveling, spending weekends at Lake Erie for many years. Frank was a 40 year member of IBEW Local 683, serving on the Union Board and Pension Board. He worked with Mid-City Electric and Superior Electric. He also served in the Ohio Army National Guard. Frank is survived by his wife of 54 years Theresa (Miller) Searcy, children: Michael Searcy, Suzanne (Thomas) Keener, Patrick Searcy and Anthony (Stacy Guiler) Searcy, grandchildren: Joseph and James Searcy, Garrett and Christopher Keener and Nicholas Searcy, a sister Elizabeth Nunley, brother-in-law Dean (Renate) Miller, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel 1051 East Johnstown Road (at Beecher Road) Gahanna, with a Vigil Service at 3:30pm. Funeral Mass 11am Wednesday August 24, 2011 at the Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church 6300 East Dublin-Granville Road, New Albany, with Father Jerome P. Rodenfels and Father Patrick Sheridan Co- Celebrants. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
