I will never forget the time when Sally and Fiona walked into the restroom--I didn't know about a therapy dog at our school yet--was so funny to look back on that memory and remember how terrified I was of Fiona :).

Fiona and sally were an amazing duo I enjoyed them coming in two times a week and seeing what outfit she was gonna have on . I’m gonna miss you sweet face . Now who’s gonna smell that one spot you enjoyed smelling every time you came In to the jr high . Fly over the 🌈 🕊️🐾 Maddie

Tiger Nation sends our condolences. Fiona and Sally have been a big part of our school community and they have truly made a difference for our students and staff. We will miss Fiona, however, her legacy will live on in the lives of the students and staff who will carry her memory with them throughout their lives. Kindness and unconditional love are the lessons that Fiona brought to our building with each visit.

Mom died 3.5 years ago, but before she passed, she had countless visits from Sally and Fiona (who Mom called "the big white dog"). I took photos of her with Mom, Bea, Peggy, Dottie and others at Abbington of Pickerington. The Sally-Fiona duo were family.

When I would be going through a rough or bad day and I would go to lunch I would see Fiona and she would be the happiest dog ever and her fur was so soft and she just made all my problems go away. This was 8th grade year and that year was a struggle but each day I would wonder when Fiona was coming she was a sweet dog and always will be remembered

We loved seeing Miss. Sally and Miss. Fiona at the football games. They bring great joy and happiness everywhere they go.

She was a great therapy dog I have ever petted every visit she made. On every visit she just lit up with a smile every time she saw me. Her owner Sally Malaret was a great owner and couldn't have gotten through the day without seeing them every Wednesday and at Ridgeview Junior High in Pickerington OH.

Im sorry for your loss, Fiona was a really really good dog. I visited her when I felt down. I  hope you know she's in a better place, and right now shes probably eating snacks and relaxing.

 I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your therapy dog on February 26th, 2025. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt condolences. I fondly remember how she used to brighten my days in junior high. Her presence was a true comfort and a source of joy for all of us. I am so sorry that I didn't get to see her more often during high school. I know she was a very special friend to you, and her absence leaves a significant void in your life. I hope you can find solace in the beautiful memories you shared and in the positive impact she had on so many lives.

I miss coming to see her every Friday at the junior high. I wish I could have seen her before she passed, or just at the high school. I never got to see her after I came to Central.

This is from Ms Wadi in the Press Paws Lab. Fiona, your presence twice a week added value to the peace and comfort that the lab brings. A piece is missing without you here lying on your back receiving rubs. The kids and your favorite admins will miss you dearly. You have left a positive mark on the world and your name will live on forever, through all your accolades. You and Sally are loved by all and there will never be another Fiona.
Sally, you are always welcomed to visit the lab and do what you do best; to lend a listening ear and show empathy to those who drop by, (both adults and kids).

I’ve only worked in PLSD for a few years, but a highlight each year is seeing Fiona at our convocation/health fair.  She was the best part for me!

Fiona brought Sally to Zane's 11th birthday party, Harry Potter themed, where she played the part oh so perfectly. The kids loved her and even though they were all wound up they were all calm in her presence.  What a blessing to so many she was.

Fiona and Sally were instrumental in inspiring me to get involved in training my dog, Shiloh,  to become a therapy dog. During one of our caregivers' meeting, Fiona walked over to me  while I was talking about my father's death. The love and comfort I felt was incredible. I'm sure many others have felt the same. Thank you Fiona  (and Sally) for being part of my life.

Fiona and Sally have burned brightly at Ridgeview 2 times weekly for the past several years. It was not uncommon for a junior high student to ask Sally to bring Fiona to their game and of course the 2 would show up to support and love the students from the sidelines. Fiona and Sally are a reminder of all that is good in this world; their love and light touched me along with countless others in our building.  Fiona will be dearly remembered in our hearts and our gratitude overflows to Sally for inspiring us all to be better humans!

I have watched Sally and Fiona bring much comfort and joy over the years.  Among the beneficiaries of their love was my mother when she was in assisted living in Pickerington.  They even came to mom's funeral three years ago.  Sending love and condolence to Sally and all recent recipients of their presence...
