Estella Collins Mason 82, of Columbus, OH passed away on Tuesday September 27, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Estella was born April 9, 1940, to the late John and Lucy Collins in Ruleville, MS.
Estella was a dedicated servant of Jehovah and was baptized in 1972 in Chicago, IL. She loved teaching others about Jehovah God’s Kingdom and what the future holds according to the Bible. Estella, served faithfully as a Regular Pioneer in the Marion, OH congregation for many years. She was attending the Westland Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Estella, was a devoted wife and mother, she was well known for her great sense of humor and searched for the good in every situation. She enjoyed family time, knitting, fishing, vacationing, playing cards (especially Bid Wiz), cooking and having friends over for a meal.
Estella was preceded in death by her husband Robert Mason and her siblings Jesse Collins, Jack Collins, James Collins, John Collins Jr. Mary Bolton, Julia Winters and Sarah Wilson.
Estella, is Survived by sisters, Betty Downing of Marion, OH, Elsie Smith of Forest Park, IL and in Laws Edith Collins of Chicago IL, Edward Wilson of Marion OH, and Willie Winters of Marion OH.
She is also survived by her children: Terance (Loma) Mason of Marion, OH, Tanyn Mason (Kenneth) Hughuley of Columbus, OH, Trijuana Mason (Adrian Richardson) of Columbus, OH and Taywyn (Rosa) Mason of Columbus, OH, and Stepson Emanuel Brown of Salsbury, MD. As well as 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
We would like to express appreciation and extend thanks to the entire family, for your love and support, as well, to Estella’s spiritual family and friends.
Special gratitude is extended to Granddaughter Tayshiana and Great Grandson Chance, for going above and beyond expectation during Estella’s time of need.
It was Estella’s hope that all of her children, grandchildren, and generations to come, take the time to get to know, love, and serve Jehovah God; in order to have the opportunity to welcome her back in the promised new world. (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:29)
