Eric Tyrone Johnson, age 58, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at The Ohio State University Hospital. Eric was born on July 21, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio to Alfred and Barbara Johnson. He was an avid fisherman and loved having family and friends over for fish fry’s. He enjoyed remote control airplanes, model cars, Pittsburgh Steelers and his big truck. Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Barbara Turner; and brother, Alfred Johnson III. Survived by his siblings, Monica, Andrae “Monty” (Andrea), Steve, Arica, and Andrae; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and special friend, Kat. Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation by Schoedinger – Hilltop, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 where funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Ron Wren officiating.
