Elsie Roach

Elsie Roach, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. In addition to her parents, Elsie is also preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Bud" Roach, son-in-law, Thomas Hockman, and 3 siblings. She enjoyed being a cheerleader at Mifflin High School, class of '44, playing fast-pitch softball on a travel team, bowling, coaching, camping, and fishing. Elsie loved God, The Word, her family, and all of her friends, especially those at Beechwood Christian Church where she attended. Elsie is survived by her daughter, Vicki Hockman; son, Barry Roach; grandchildren, Tom (Dana) Hockman, Scott (Tanya) Hockman, Kim (Chad) Thompson, Deanna (Andy) Ceneskie, and Barry (Meghan) Roach II; and great-grandchildren, Owen, Payton, Jaidan, Kiara, Nya, Ashley, Joey, and Tori. Family will receive friends from 2-5 pm on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, Oh 43229, where a funeral service will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 10 am. Pastor Patrick Mauger officiating. Interment to immediately follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates in procession. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr., Columbus, Oh 43214.
