I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy.  May you find comfort from your memories, as well as God’s word the bible. Why do people we love die? Romans 5:12 says: "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned."  How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Aunt Betty was truly a special person. I have nothing but fond memories of time spent with her and her family from my childhood through now. My mother always enjoyed speaking with Aunt Betty and looked forward to her visits. While we did not speak often, she had a gift for phoning at times when I could use a bit of encouragement or a kind word. There is no doubt the Good Lord has a special place for her and others like her. It was a blessing to have known her and she will truly be missed.

What a great loss to this earth and what a great gain up in heaven.  I have always admired what a great lady Betty was.  Spunky, pretty, elegant, determined, caring, loving, smart, sweet, funny, those are just some of the words that come to mind when I want to describe her. In the 60+ years that I have known Betty, there has never been anyone else that I have met that could compare to her.  I will so miss our phone calls and visits.
My sincere sympathy to her family for their loss, she is no doubt at peace now.

Aunt Betty was truly a very special lady.  Her and my mother Mrs Julia Prettyman are together again.  They were the very best of friends and would speak to each other very often even though they lived miles apart.  They would comfort each other through their trials and illnesses.  Mom would always enjoy the call from Aunt Betty.  I too have been toughed by her kindness and caring.  We will miss her but know she is in a better place along with Aunt Virginia and my mom. Our sincere sympathy to her family. Mrs. Hawley appeared on the front door step of Matt & Dayanara's first home at 331 South Street in Worthington even before they had moved into the home. I was there working on the home at the time. She was so sweet and the perfect "welcome to your new home ambassador"! I had an Aunt molded from the same fabric of caring and generosity towards others.
