Elizabeth “Beth” D. Clayton, age 54, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Beth was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 2, 1969. She was a 1987 graduate of Upper Arlington High School and continued her education with a B.S in Education from The Ohio State University and a M.S.E. in Education and Human Services from the University of Dayton. Beth spent the majority of her career as an IT Educator and Analyst and worked for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for over 15 years. For those close to Beth, she will be remembered fondly for her witty sense of humor and her contagious laugh. She shared her warm spirit with friends, family, colleagues and community and was always there for others, reaching out, listening or lending a hand. Beth was also a courageous breast cancer survivor, who even in the most difficult times of her treatment, displayed incredible bravery and resiliency. Her passions in life included serving as a girl scout leader, volunteering for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, spending time with her coveted circle of friends and caring for her adored dogs. She cherished summer vacations at the beach in Wilmington, North Carolina with her beloved daughter, Riley, and family. She will be deeply missed by her loving mother Bonnie Black; stepfather Gill Black; father, Thomas Bob; stepmother, Connie Bob; daughter Riley Clayton; sister Brenda Jump; nieces Lynsey and Lauren Jump; and numerous friends. Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST,1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221.
