Beth was an incredible, loving mother to "her beautiful daughter." I feel forever thankful to be able to hear their ongoing FaceTime calls that lasted hours- Beth always asked about us, her roommates, and truly loved hearing about how we were doing and what we are doing day-to-day. She loved my fur baby (our college dog) never missing a chance to tell me "I'm not really a fan of small dogs, but man I just love your little Grayson!" 
Riley- your mom loved, and will always will love you, so deeply! We will remember these memories with her forever.

Beth was an amazing woman…she made Girl Scout camping trips bearable and fun and I’ll never forget the good times we shared together as co-leaders in Troop 1782, (along with Elizabeth S and Jenni). She will be missed…My condolences to Riley and Beth’s family…

I am so deeply saddened to learn of Beth’s passing.  We were Girl Scout leaders together for the Brownie and Junior troops Riley and my daughter were in for many years.  Oh the memories! Camping trips, COSI lock-in all nighters, overnights at the Columbus zoo, caroling at skilled nursing facilities, crocheting mats out of plastic grocery bags to give to homeless camps, road trip to Great Wolf Lodge, cookie booths, and so much more.  In every situation, rain or shine, Beth’s enthusiasm and joy for the troop and the girls was inspiring and carried us through whatever adversities we encountered. We were not able to have the honor of meeting Beth, however,  we loved Riley from the first moment we met her. We know an incredible Mom had to be responsible for such a lovely daughter.  We truly feel for Riley and her family.  Our prayers and love.

Whether you were crossing paths with Beth in the hallway, sharing a moment at the café, or connecting in a virtual meeting, the effect she had was unfailingly the same; she brought a smile to your face.

If caring and compassion were measurable qualities, Beth certainly added to a team that already exemplifies these traits. Beth was always genuinely interested in how your family and pets were doing, and how you were coping with life.

I am very lucky to be associated with her a team that cares so much about each other.  

Her absence leaves a void not only in the lives of her family but also among us, her colleagues. Yet, when I close my eyes to remember her, I can't help but see: Beth, surrounded by her loved ones and those who adored her, strumming her ukulele. It's a comforting image that reminds us of her joyful spirit.

Beth was such a kind, caring, unique individual. She made me laugh every time we interacted. Quite often we would speak about what we had for lunch and she would ask if the food brought me joy. She would order her beloved Jimmy John's and that always brought her joy. After breast cancer she said she learned to appreciate the little things and to make sure they brought joy. I often think of her words now. Beth was always such a key piece in our little team meetings. She would ask how everyone was doing and genuinely cared for the responses. Then she would share stories of her time in the girl scouts, of her daughter Riley, her mother, or her dogs. I will miss these moments. We always had a good laugh. Especially when she said "punch them in the neck". She owns this phrase as far as I'm concerned. She once sent me a ticket that said this (unknowingly) and we laughed about it for a long time. Beth, I'm so glad to have known you. I pray for peace for you, and all of your friends and family.

Extremely heartbroken to hear this news.  I remember Beth as always being the ray of sunshine walking down the halls of Ackerman with her beautiful smile, offering  sweet greetings to everyone in her path.  She had the best laugh, the kindest heart, and a cheerful soul.  She would always lend an ear, was the first person to ask how you were, how life was going, ask about your journeys, family, children and even fur babies.  She was the team’s cheerleader and biggest supporter, would drop whatever she was doing to lend a hand and truly cared about everyone around her.  Her fun-loving spirit will never be forgotten.  Rest in Paradise, my dear!

Sweet, kind Beth, working with her was such a wonderful experience. I’m right there with so many who’ve commented on Beth’s sassy style, her infectious laugh, fabulous wit, and willingness to help whenever she got the call. It was a joy to work with her, to be each other’s cheerleader, listener and confidant. If you ever had more than two conversations with Beth, you knew she had a daughter named Riley that she was extremely proud of.  I’ll be praying that God wraps his arms around Riley and brings her (and the family), all the peace and comfort He can through these days and many more to come.

I am truly sorry to hear of Beth's passing. I was lucky to join the IHIS training team in 2021, and I worked side by side with Beth every day before she left the IHIS training team, and continued to work with Beth when she moved over to the IHIS accounts team. I appreciate the knowledge and time that Beth shared with me when I started. One thing I will always remember about Beth is her catch phrases. While training with her and learning the ropes she always told me I was "asking all the right questions." Beth also was a very giving person whenever she was going to the bistro, or McDonalds she always asked if you wanted something. Beth thank you for all your help and being my friend! To Beth's family I give you my sincere condolences for your loss, but most of all Reily. Your mom was always proud of you and talked about you often with me.

I first met Beth when OSUWMC was gearing up for the Big Bang. I expect she was wandering around in a sea of Uniprint boxes filled with all kinds of training materials in a room that was at the back of the Ackerman Complex. What a whirlwind that was, and despite a host of issues, Beth managed to stay calm and sane throughout the chaos. Later, I got to know her better, when she, another colleague and I were housed at Chatham, off campus. I remember many, many lunches with her and Mary Bowlin, Mary and I eating Rotisserie Chicken and a salad, our staple lunch, with Beth breezing in with her beloved McDonalds to join us. Good memories indeed. She deeply cared about Riley and the rest of her family, and we shared in their triumphs and tribulations vicariously through Beth. Since she moved to a different department, Beth and I did not keep up as often, however, I still will miss her infectious humor, laughter and candor.  Fly high, shining star!

Hugs and prayers to Riley and Beth's family and friends. She will be so dearly missed. I'd loved chatting with her about our girls. My sister had breast cancers and we shared many stories as well. Beth made you feel special and she was obviously this way with all of us on our team based on the notes here. She has left a last imprint on so many and will not be forgotten.

I’ve known Beth for years while working at OSU.  You instantly knew when Beth entered an area because she would greet everyone with a smile and kind words.  Her interactions were thoughtful, which was one of the greatest things about talking with her.  We’ve lost an important team member and friend, and I will miss having our weekly chats.

Working with Beth was an absolute blessing. She brought a warm light to our team that will be greatly missed. I admired her natural kindness and enjoyed her light-hearted humor. She never hesitated to offer support or words of encouragement. Beth is one of those special people you can’t help feeling lucky to have met.

I would like to share a memory that many will appreciate based on the wonderful things that are being said about my lovely daughter.  You may or may not know that Beth played competitive tennis in junior and senior high. I was watching her play a singles match once and she had her opponent on the defensive.  Then her opponent made a super shot that caught Beth off guard.  I need not say that her opponent got the point, but her opponent also got a "NICE SHOT!" comment from Beth.  This is something one usually does not do in competitive tennis during the match, but it was necessary for Beth to make her opponent feel good about her shot.  I just shook my head and thought "that's my Beth, my lovely Beth."   I loved the way you were.   Mom

I'm saddened to hear of the passing of Beth. She and I had daughters who were studying abroad in Germany at the same time.  Beth was great mental support to me as we frequently shared our daughter's experiences. My heart goes out to Beth's daughter and all others whom she touched:(

I first met Beth in elementary school!  We were both in the same Girl Scout troop, and shared many classrooms and friends through out the 6th grade. She was always SO funny, a friend to everyone and a leader, even at that young age.  We experienced countless camp-outs and sleepovers in those years. Anyone who knew her then, might remember her skit, ‘Little Nemo” 😉😂.  I am so saddened and shocked to hear of her passing. I have nothing but fond, funny, and fabulous memories of our childhood friendship.  Rest in Peace, sweet Beth. You are missed.

These tributes to Beth perfectly sum up my friend and co-worker.  I’ve known her since she joined IT, but was so happy when she joined our team.  She was a perfect fit.  I will miss her “Hello, Beautiful” greeting.  I will miss her “any whoooo” as she wrapped up a story, when she mentioned “throat punches” or said said a situation or issue was “too much”.   

Beth was engaging and personable.  She was a great listener and had such a positive, contagious energy.  I loved her kind, generous and giving heart and that she volunteered in her free time.  

I will miss Beth’s positivity, funny stories and her always perfect GIF responses to chat messages (Ernest Lubitsch).  I will also miss hearing about her love for Riley, her family and fur babies Gus & Vivi. 

Beth joined us for a team lunch last month.  She looked beautiful with her hair pulled up, cool oversized glasses and wearing a gold turtleneck sweater.  She looked like a celebrity and I will carry this image of her with me.  

I’ve lost a team mate, a kindred spirit and a friend.   I am a better person for having known Beth and miss her deeply.  My condolences to the family and prayers for happy memories to carry you through the days ahead.

Beth's passing was a "throat punch." I never expected to use your expression while typing these very difficult words. Tomorrow will be our first coffee talk without Beth, and I don't know how to attend the meeting. What are we going to talk about? Being around her was a blessing, and her positivity and upbeat personality were contagious. Always dressed impeccably with the trendiest boots, scarf, and coats, I'm happy Beth found a work home in our team. We all got along well, and most importantly, had fun working together. Dear friend, wherever you are, please know I miss you dearly.

I had the privilege to work with Beth for many years and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to know her. She was smart, strong, charming, and a genuine friend. She could stay calm under pressure and make the impossible happen- I used to tease her about her superpowers. I will miss our wonderful conversations, her contagious laugh and how I always felt better after seeing or talking to her. She was a beautiful soul, and the world will never be the same.  My deepest sympathy goes out to her family especially her daughter Riley. She expressed her love and pride of you every time I saw her.

I worked with Beth. daily and we called each other for updates on tickets and on our personal lives.  She wanted to improve our processes and was so passionate about it i gave her the nickname bulldog. She volunteered at the local food bank. She was a bundle of positive energy. always upbeat and made you smile even when you were sad. She was my best friend and I already miss her terribly.

I have been heartbroken since hearing this news.  I already miss her so much!  She wasn’t just a coworker, she was a good friend and a beautiful soul.  I loved spending time with her and talking about the ups and downs of life.  She always greeted me with a, “Hi Friend,” or “Hi Beautiful!”  I have a lot of great memories of her and my life was definitely better because she was in it.  Her smile, her style, and spunky attitude are irreplaceable.  I share in your grief and extend my deepest sympathies to her family.

When I started at the Medical Center in 2017, Beth was so welcoming and was really the person I went to with all of my questions. She was patient with me and answered me cheerfully. I worked closely with Beth for several years before she moved on to a different department. I always enjoyed my interactions with her and had a lot of laughs! I loved hearing about Riley and could tell how proud Beth was of her. Beth will be truly missed.

Beth was a colleague, good friend, and mentor. It is because of her that I work at the medical center. She was genuine, kind, funny, and an advocate for what was right. When she asked how you were doing, she sincerely wanted to know. I will miss our talks, and the world has lost a bright light.

I am so sorry to hear about Beth's passing. She was so tough and sassy it was hard to believe. I know the last ten years presented some significant health challenges but it would have been hard to know that if you just saw her in the halls at work (or on Teams).  She was an incredible human who always had something positive and funny to say - she sure never held back when there was something important to call out either! I deeply admired Beth and respected the way she would talk about how fiercely she loves Riley. I never had the chance to meet her daughter but feel as though I know her through the countless stories Beth would tell - she thought so highly of her and was quick to let you know her latest accomplishments. Beth will be dearly missed by her colleagues. My sincerest condolences.
