Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Brenner

Elizabeth Ann Brenner, age 94 of Upper Arlington, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015. Betty was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of the late Lawrence Sr. and Anna Slattery. Also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert C. Brenner and siblings Lawrence Jr., John, Collette and Dorothy. Betty worked at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy and HER Realtors for many years. She was a friendly, outgoing and caring woman who had great style. She was a charter member of St. Andrew Parish and was active in the St. Andrew’s Women’s Club. In addition, she enjoyed ceramics, calligraphy, reading, crafts, and playing the organ. Above all else, Betty loved being a grandmother and enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Barbara Ann Mason and Lisa Dyan Dills; grandchildren, Christi (Mike) Smith, Megan (Kathleen) Coughlin, and Asa Dills; great grandchildren, Garrett, Wyatt, and Elliotte Smith and Payson and Cooper Coughlin; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. Sunday, November 29, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, November 30, 2015 at St. Andrew Parish, 1899 McCoy Rd. Msgr. Stephan Moloney Celebrant. Private inurnment St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
