

Elizabeth C. “Beth” Tatz, passed away on July 23, 2014 while in Morocco travelling with her family. A woman of strong faith, Beth was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend and good listener. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Dr. Robert J. “Bob” Tatz; her children Bill (Meghann) Tatz, Jim (Jen) Tatz, Sarah (Hassan) Tatz Bouaida, David Timmy John (Amy) Tatz, Michael Francis Tatz, Elizabeth “Libby” Leona Tatz, Steven Richard (Lily) Tatz, Douglas Andrew Tatz, Rebecca Eileen Tatz, Daniel “Danny” Salvadore Tatz; her grandchildren Aidan, Noah, Szander, Keegan, Sean, Adam, Safiya, Ella , Kevin and Lily; her father and step-mother William and Joan Brown; siblings Margie (Brett) Wheeler and Laurie (Paul) DeCoste, Nancy Wiegers, Susan Wiegers, and their families; mother and father in law William and Eileen Tatz; sisters and brothers in law Marilyn, Bill, Ed, Rich, Joe and their families. She is preceded in death by her mother Gertrude Penner Brown; her stillborn child Francis Tatz; and grandchildren Alex, Henry and Olivia Tatz.
Beth was born in Sharon, Massachusetts on October 22, 1955. Beth graduated from Wellesley College in 1978 with a BA in French. Beth and Bob have been members of St. Michael Catholic Church since 1983. She is a faithful daughter of St. Josemaria Escriva. She cherished the time she spent with her family, whether it be outdoors, at the sea shore, walking in the woods or watching the snow fall. She continues to be an example of pure and simple love.
Family will receive friends on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 11:00am to 3:00pm and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085 where a Prayer Vigil will be held at 6:00 pm Friday. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am, Saturday, August 2, 2014 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Father Anthony A. Dinovo, Jr., Celebrant. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Family will also receive friends at St. Michael Catholic Church from 7-9 p.m. Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
