Eileen Frances Sanders

Eileen Frances Sanders, age 88, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 12, 1925 to the late James and Florence Hannon. She graduated from Holy Family High School and retired from Huntington Bank after many years of dedicated service. She was a longtime member of St. Matthias Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Wilda Hannon, Ursula Spurlock, Edna Brunoni, and Eugene Hannon. Survivors include her children, Raymond (Patty) Sanders, David (TerryAnn) Sanders, and Florence Sanders Higdon; sisters, Betty Bush and Doris Hannon; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Eileen loved gardening and playing bingo. Friends may call on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 10:00AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road, Columbus, Ohio 43224. Fr. Raymond Larussa, celebrant.
