Donna is survived by son, Dale (Bobbie) Thompson, grandchildren; Joe Linley, Brandi (Josh Weathers) Linley and Stephanie (Chris) Smith, great grandchildren; Ashley Walston, Jeff Walston, and Kincade Smith, great great grandchild, Emmerson Walston and Ryan Walston,best friend, greatest confidant, and beloved sister, Alice Bristow, nephews, David (Linda) Folk, and Larry (Judy) Folk, and nieces; Melissa (Steve) Schoessler, Allie Schoessler, and Isla Schoessler, along with other dear family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, her loving husband of 62 years Walter Dale Thompson Sr., sister, Jean Folk, brother-in-laws, William Folk, and Kirby Bristow, and uncle, Charlie Finger. Donna was a truly caring and compassionate person, always ensuring that those around her felt supported and comfortable. She had a passion for gardening, nurturing a vibrant array of beautiful flowers and vegetables. Known for her culinary talents, Donna delighted everyone with her delicious dishes, from chili to her unforgettable macaroni salad.
Her bright spirit brought joy to many lives, and she will be deeply missed. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 5-8PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E.
