Donald Leo Rohrkemper

Don was born in Amanda, Ohio on November 11, 1926 to the late Russell and Catherine Rohrkemper. He graduated from Hamilton High School. Don was married to Teckla (Sharkey) Rohrkemper. They moved around the country and the world with his career, including Cincinnati, Seattle, Chicago, Columbus, Singapore, and Zurich. He lived a full life and had a career which he loved. He represented General Electric Aviation to corporations that operated fleets of aircrafts with GE jet engines, including the U.S. Air Force, major airlines and private companies. Teckla and Don were members of St. Elizabeth parish.

In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his loving wife, Teckla Rohrkemper and his sister, Jean Liller.

Don is survived by his daughter, Mary (Steven) Hatcher; his grandchildren, Aaron (Jenifer) Hatcher, Benjamin (Jami Velker) Hatcher, and Shana (Sharad) Thadani; his great-grandchildren, Alex and Adam Hatcher, Maya and Helena Thadani; his brother, Jan (Effie) Rohrkemper and many other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd, Columbus, Ohio. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00am. A luncheon will follow mass.

Cremation services entrusted to Advantage by Schoedinger North. He will be placed to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
