Donald E. Pahl

Don was a civil engineer for Ohio Bell, from where he retired. He was a longtime and founding member of Jersey Baptist Church. There, he engineered and oversaw the designing and building of the original church and subsequent additions. Don enjoyed spending time with his beloved family. His favorite pastimes were fishing and cheering on the Cleveland Indians.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois; parents; and brother, James Pahl.

Don will be greatly missed by his son, Tym (Jennifer Saunders) Pahl; step-children, Cathy (Art) Marchi, Steve (Susan) Tripp, Christine (Paul) Steele; grandchildren, Tony Marchi, Dominic (Angela) Marchi, John (Barb) Marchi, and Andrea Marchi (Brandon) Double; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings; Mary, Bob, and Loren; special neighbors, John, Patty, and Rebecca; and numerous extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday December 27, 2018 from 4-7pm at Jersey Church, 13260 Morse Rd, New Albany, OH 43054; where a service will be held on Friday December 28, 2018 at 10am. Interment to follow at Mifflin Cemetery. Pastor John Hays will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jersey Baptist Church Building Fund.
