Don Trimmer

Don Trimmer a life-long resident of the Hilltop, 89 years young. Graduate of West High School along with his brothers Jack, Bob, and Jim who have preceded him in death, as well as their parents Henry and Ina.

He will be deeply missed by his niece and nephews, Dan (Leslie) Trimmer, Jeff (Stacey) Trimmer, Debbie (Gary) Fike, Rob (Suzanne) Trimmer, Carol Trimmer. Several great-niece and nephews: Josh, Nicole, Aaron, Jeffrey ,Joe, Jen, Tori, Carli, Chris, Justin, Jared and even several great-great- nieces and nephews. His neighbors and old friends included.

Don was employed at the Westinghouse factory for about 20 years before retirement and was always a devoted Buckeye football fan, ready to share talk about the latest coaching. Widely known as “Mayor of Westmoor”, his rapport with the neighborhood is indeed iconic of a bygone era. Most people you meet will tell you stories of Don’s big heart and generosity. We will all cherish and miss him forever!

Visitation will be held from 1-3 and 5-7 pm on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Board St., Columbus, Ohio 43204 where funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
