Dolores M. Wymond, age 94, of Cincinnati, Ohio and formerly a longtime resident of Whitehall, died Friday, March 29, 2024 in Cincinnati. She was born March 2, 1930 in Columbus, daughter of the late Russell and Edith (Amicon) Dern. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl K. Muckenfuss (Robert); brother Tom Dern (Sharon); stepdaughter, Jane Gibson (Brian); stepson, David Wymond; beloved granddaughter, Emily McDonald (Duane) and beloved grandsons, Jonathan Shaw (Mario) and David Shaw; great- granddaughters, Alisha Noble (Jonathan) and Taylor McDonald; great-grandson, Devon McDonald; great great grandsons, Tanner Noble and Declan Noble; nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends. She was also survived by Alvin Weber, a very dear friend the last few years to Dolores and Cheryl. Besides her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Philip C. Wymond. Dolores was a resident of Whitehall for over 30 years. Her last two years were spent in Hillebrand Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cincinnati near her daughter. Earlier in her life, Dolores was active with Diet Workshop, Church of St. Edward, card clubs and watercolor painting. She was always an important part of her family with grandchildren helping with her care while she still lived in Columbus in her latter years. She has left her family with numerous watercolor paintings that they will cherish for years to come. The paintings distinctly exhibited her talent. Funeral Service will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, April 6, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232, where family and friends may call after 11:00 am until 12 Noon Saturday. Entombment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
