Diane K. Lay, 64 of Columbus formerly of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Saturday December 5, 2020 at St. Ann's Hospital. She was born September 22, 1956 to the late William "Buddy" and Audrey Harrop Best. Diane worked as a licensed Optician for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her wife of 30 years, Karen May; children, Mikisha (Kevin) Lottes of Columbus, OH; Mikal (Rebecca) Lay of Heath, OH; and Scott May of Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren who were the light of her life Cameron Makovi (Tayler Darst), Audrey "Auddie" Lottes, Aiden Lay, Ella Lay and Harper Lay. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Chloe; Chelsie, Taco and Izzy. Friends may call Thursday 4:00-6:00 at the Schoedinger Worthington location where a private service will follow at 6pm.
