Diane Kay Jones, age 66, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at the James Cancer Hospital. She was born February 25, 1951 in Freeport, Illinois to the late Warren and Dorothy Bennehoff and is also preceded in death by her sister, Gayle Fryer. Diane grew up in Orangeville, Illinois where she met and married the love of her life, Wayne Jones. In addition to her husband of 46 years, she is also survived by her son, Timothy (Jennifer) Jones; daughter, Amanda (John) Edwards; grandchildren, Callie and Warren Jones and Sofia Edwards; siblings, Donna Holloway, Donald (Sally) Bennehoff, Norma Sigafus, Joyce (Lewis) Hodge; brother-in-law, Donald Fryer; and many nieces and nephews. Diane truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: chatting with friends and family, shopping, decorating, sewing, and watching sports. She also just "loved to dance." Diane enjoyed traveling to various places around the world with her husband. Her biggest joy was her family, and she was their biggest cheerleader. A visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Sunday, December 17 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday.
