Diana G. Welch

Diana was born in Clintonville, the daughter of Dean H. Galbreath and Ruth Montgomery Lange. She is a graduate of North High School and Ohio University. She pledged Pi Beta Phi and was an active alumna for many years. Among her many activities over the years, she was an active partner in property development entities and served on the condominium boards of the communities in which she lived. Diana loved to travel and two of her special places including Longboat Key, Florida and the coast of Maine.

Diana was married to Ralph A. Welch for over 40 years before his passing. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Wendy (David) Guda, Connecticut; Saundra (Doug) Brown, Alabama; Mitchell (Annette), Virginia; and Gretchen (James) Rutter, Ohio. She was always excited to spend time with her four grandchildren and thrilled about her three great-grandchildren, Christopher (Kiki) Guda and daughter Piper, Pennsylvania; Michael (Irene) Guda and sons Owen and William, Connecticut; Matthew (Lauren) Welch, Tennessee; and Marissa (Sam) O’Neil, Virginia.

The family invites friends to a visitation on February 9, 2023 starting at 3:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 4:00 p.m. held at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road. A private family interment service will take place at a later date.
