Dennis Klatt

Dennis A. Klatt was born on June 6, 1937 in Mason City, Iowa and passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. He was a hardworking man and an amazing father who was passionate about travel and an avid reader. After his service in the United States Army, Dennis would go on to be an airline manager for several years. Dennis was a member and past president of SKAL International, promoting global tourism and friendship, as well as a faithful member of Peace United Methodist Church. Even after retirement, Dennis made sure to stay busy with a myriad of odd jobs to keep himself active and sharp.

Dennis is survived by his beloved wife, Drema Klatt, of 41 years; he is also survived by his children Sharon (Richard) Amos, Susan Krumlauf, Mark (Carmen) Klatt, Saundra (Chris) Heemsoth, Pam Herbst, and Susan Hamilton; his siblings Donald Klatt and Maxine Moore; 13 cherished grandchildren, Abigail, Nicole, Paige, Hannah, Jacob, Tyler, Kaylee, Courtney, Cassidy, Samantha, Jessy, Bryan, and Tony; and 5 great grandchildren, Perri, Grace, Mason, Amelia, and Max. Preceding Dennis in death are his parents and his older sister, Delorice Tharp.
