Deborah A. Wirtz, age 60, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025. She was born on September 25, 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Joseph and Catherine (Chambers) O’Donnell. Deborah attended Bishop Hartley High School. She worked for Abercrombie & Fitch for over 20 years. Deborah enjoyed playing cards and puzzle games. She loved her cats Socks and Midnight and was an avid Cowboys and Buckeyes fan. In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Wirtz; sister, Sherrie Walker and niece, Kimberly Rudd. She is survived by her son, David (Aileen) Wirtz; daughter, Elizabeth (Nathan) Basham; grandson, Owen Basham; brothers, Joe O’Donnell and Ray O’Donnell; sisters, Colleen O’Donnell Rudd and Cathy Ivory; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Private services will be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Columbus Humane, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct. Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
