Deborah Diehl Jones, age 70, died September 26, 2009 surrounded by family. Affectionately known as “Momo” by her family and friends, she was born on November 9, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio to Betty and William Ross Diehl Jr. Deborah was a member of Broad St. Presbyterian Church where she was a past moderator of the Board of Deacons and an Associate member of TWIG 61. She was a member of Jefferson and Wedgewood Country Clubs. Deborah was a graduate of the Columbus School for Girls and Marjorie Webster Jr. College in Washington D.C. Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard F. Jones, beloved parents, and brother, William R. Diehl III. She is survived by her children, Jennifer J. Stephenson, Sarah (Matt) Nusken, and J.B. (Laura) Jones; grandchildren, Abigail J. Stephenson, Kelsey A. Stephenson, Sarah B. Jones, Margaret E. Jones, and Matthew Ferguson Nusken; and sisters-in-law, Loretta Diehl and Janet Jones. Family will receive friends from 2-4, and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 E. State St. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Broad Street Presbyterian Church, 760 E Broad St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Broad Street Presbyterian Church, 760 E Broad St. Columbus, OH 43205.
