David Novotney

David Novotney, 71, of Delaware, passed away on March 31, 2021. He was born in Streator IL, on June 23, 1949 to the late Ralph and Louise (Plimmer) Novotney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Novotney.

David loved sports, football, basketball, and hockey. But his favorite sport was fishing. He loved learning new things. He earned a Master of Divinity, Specialist Degree in Education, and a Masters in Counseling. He worked in Christian schools located in Joplin Missouri, Dallas Texas, Lexington Kentucky, and Tree of Life Christian Schools in Columbus Ohio. His ministry was reaching out to students encouraging them to be successful in their work. He truly loved his work.

David will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 47 years Virginia "Ginny" Novotney; nephew, Brian Novotney; niece, Lisa Donahue; sister-in-law's, Diane (Terry) Fraser and Dotty (Ron) Walker.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in June.
