Daniel Joseph Lorek, age 57, died Monday, November 14, 2016. He was born August 9, 1959 in Buffalo, New York to the late Joseph and Mary Lorek. Dan is survived by his wife of 25 years, Christine Lorek; son, Christopher Lorek; daughter, Valentina Lorek; brother, Kenneth (Marie) Lorek and nieces, Danielle Lorek and Janine (Todd) Neubauer of Birmingham, Alabama; and other loving family members. Dan earned a B.S. degree in Design from Arizona State University in 1982 and a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University at Buffalo in 1985. He worked in urban planning and was an entrepreneur who led development and consulting companies. Grabbing all that he could out of life, Dan was devoted to his family and also shared his passions of travel and architecture with them. A Celebration of Life will take place at Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street, Worthington, Ohio on Thursday, November 17 at 1:30 p.m. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in memory of Dan to the
