Daniel (Dan) Lambeth (85) passed away on September 29, 2024, at home. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, lived in Canfield, and moved to Columbus as a young boy. Dan is preceded in death by his parents Virginia (Harter) and Fred Lambeth, and brother William (Bill) Lambeth.
Dan graduated from Linden McKinley High School and then was proud to serve our country as a Marine. He retired from AT&T (Western Electric, Lucent Technologies) as an Industrial Engineer after 36 years of service. Over the years, Dan enjoyed go-kart racing, bowling, golf, softball, 1950-60 music trivia, making home movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Connie (Nichols) Lambeth, and wonderful son Stephen (Steve) Lambeth, brother-in-law Jerry Nichols (Jenny) of Columbus, and nephew Brian Nichols of Newark. He will be missed by his special family members and friends. Dan will also be missed by his little Shih Tzu, Chanel.
Entrusted arrangements to Schoedinger East Funeral Home. Dan will be cremated and reside at Union Cemetery in Columbus. A “Celebration of Life” will be held for family and friends at a later date.
