Curtis Jay Russell, age 74, of Columbus, Ohio passes away on November 26, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on Aug. 7, 1950 in Cumberland, West Virginia to the late Freda Johnson. Curtis Russell will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Nancy M. (Chacon) Russell; Children, Robert Baird, Chad Baird and Shane Baird; Grandchildren, Tyler Baird, Holly Baird, Riley Baird, Cassie Baird, Katie Baird, Chad Baird jr., Alex Baird and Devon Baird. Brother, Kenny Russell. As well as numerous relatives and friends.
Curtis never failed to always have a good time. He loved to fish and be anywhere outside most of his days. And always watching his cowboy shows. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Curtis had plenty of stories to share of his time at rodeos. Spending time with his best friends Bruce and Hector. Curtis proudly served his country in the US Army.
