Cornelia Eileen Chaney (Updyke), age 86, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011. She was born in Dayton, OH to the late George and Mildred Updyke on June 18, 1925. Cornelia grew up in Marion, OH and graduated from Central High School in Dayton, OH. She enjoyed bird watching and listening to music. She loved cooking and spending time with family. In addition to her parents Cornelia was preceded in death by her sisters, Marjorie Wolfe and Marian Meyer. She is survived by her loving sons, Mark (Susan) Chaney of Marion, OH, Craig (Deanna) Chaney of Boyce, LA, and Todd Chaney of Upper Arlington, OH; brother, Howard (Ada) Updyke; grandchildren, Amanda, Danielle, Brooke, and Taylor. A Memorial Service will be held the first week of December at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL 1740 Zollinger RD.
