As a small child, Eel and his family relocated to Columbus, OH. Eel attended Columbus Public Schools. He later worked for Columbus School Board, Wonder Bread, and Kroger bakery. He also volunteered for various schools in the district.
Eel will be remembered as being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was always known for entertaining and providing his insight whether you liked it or not. Of course, he was always sure to provide a good laugh. Eel loved music, nice cars, clothes, and jewelry. In his downtime, he could be found watching one of his many televisions (the bigger the better). Eel had a special love for dogs; he and his buddy, Doe, will be together forever. Rest in peace, Doe; you will truly be missed.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law (whom he loved dearly), Ernestine Lipsey Hill.
