Christopher Paul Courtney, age 40, lost his battle with addiction on Saturday, December 30, 2017. Known lovingly by all as Tick, he was an avid Buckeyes and Browns fan. He loved life and his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Sis Courtney, brother, Craig and niece and god-daughter, Caitlin Marie Dolan. Tick will be greatly missed by his father, Robert Courtney; brother and sisters, Matt (Kathy), Cathleen (Tom) Kerns, Michelle Dolan and Colleen (Troy) Green; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, Melanie (Marty) Such, Daniel and Morgan Such, Cole Courtney, Emily Kerns, Courtneay Dolan, Trey and Makenna Waite, Nicholas Dolan, Madalyn Courtney, and Cody Green, many other family and friends too numerous to mention. According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
